Tour Overview

Cappadocia is much more than rock carved churches and fairy chimneys. Those who carved and decorated these churches and those who created this great civilization of late middle ages in Cappadocia owe this to the practise of viticulture since very early times of human settlements Our goal is to combine this ancient history with present wine culture by travelling on one of most ancient wine routes of history and explore history of wine in Cappadocia which dates back to 5000 years ago, even prior to great wine empire of Hittites. We explore wine towns, villages and valleys in Eastern part of Cappadocia such as Sofular, Ulaşlı and Çökek. We enjoy the scenery of Kızılırmak River in Sarıhıdır village.
